Concert Band

Our Band is a comprehensive program that regularly performs at various concerts, festivals, local events, and football games.

We rehearse every school day during zero period to avoid conflicts with other courses. If you are interested in joining, then please contact Mr. Michael Hardt.

Choir

Our Choir is a mixed Choir that also performs at many concerts, festivals, and local events.

We rehearse every school day of the week. If you are interested in joining, then please contact Ms. Phebe Cisneros.

DJ Set

Music Technology & Production

Our Music Technology program is a new program that gives students the opportunity to express their absolute creativity while training them in the art and science of sound and audio engineering.

Students learn to DJ, mix music in a DAW, and even produce their own songs or albums. If you are interested in joining, then please contact Mr. Michael Hardt.

Drumline

Our Drumline is a program that performs at concerts and football games. Students also participate in our Percussion Ensemble after football season is over.

Meet Our Dedicated Staff

Michael Hardt

Band Director / Music Tech Director

Michael Hardt is a native of the coastal regions of Southern California who studied Music and Music Education at California State University, Fullerton as a Saxophone player, earning his Bachelor's Degree and Teaching Credential in 2019. 

Currently, in addition to teaching full time, Mr. Hardt regularly continues to perform on his Saxophone and also enjoys creating electronic music in his free time. He is also currently enrolled in a Master's Program at Berklee School of Music based in New York, where he studies sound design, audio engineering, and music production.

Phebe Cisneros

Choral Director

Phebe Cisneros is another native of Southern California, hailing from the high desert. She studied Music and Music Education at California State University, Chico, earning her Bachelor's Degree and Teaching Credential in 2022 with a Minor in Child Development.

Ms. Cisneros has been teaching full time since her departure from Chico State and continues to perform in local Jazz and Wind Ensembles in Northern California.
